Spring Awakening 2012!

     It was a blustery February 11th when the cast and crew of the movie "Spring Awakening" gathered at Historic Elk Landing to resume filming of the feature film. This particular scene was of a grave yard situation where family and friends gathered to mourn the death of one of the film's characters. A light snow had fallen the night before and morning of the filming, which added to the gloom of the scene. Back inside at the much warmer Hollingsworth House, the cast passed the time knitting, making cell phone calls, rehearsing their lines, and having some last minute makeup and wardrobe changes. The cast and crew first visited Elk Landing back in the fall of 2011 when interior scenes were filmed. There is no word on when the film will be released, but we will let you know through our web site and our Facebook page.
