Open Hours

The grounds are open to the public, dawn to dusk to pedestrian access except for closures for private events.  Please see current events for the updated schedule.

 

Please take your trash with you.  Port-o-Pot is available onsite.

 

Elk Landing does not allow:

  • metal detecting,

  • hunting,

  • digging,

  • disturbance of the wetlands along the creeks. 

  • Please leash any dogs and pick-up behind them.  We do not allow any animals (unless service animal) in the museum houses.

 

We do not have a boat launch, so the closest for Kayaks or boats is Marina Park (within town limits).

We do allow photos!  Share your photos with us on our Facebook page!  Elk Landing reserves the right to take photos during tours/events for promotional purposes.

​

If the gate is closed, please park in the grassy area just to the left of the gate along the fence line (near the turnaround).

Tours

Limited House tours are available by appointment.  Due to limited availability for Docents, please allow 4-5 business days to schedule an appointment for a private tour.  Call us at 410-620-6400 or â€‹email elklandingfoundation@gmail.com for more information and availability.  For private tours, there will be a fee of $10 per person.

No appointment necessary for Open House tours.  Tours are free, donations gladly accepted.  All donations fund maintaining of the Hollingsworth and Stone House.  Typically, tours are on the hour, see our event calendar for times.
