About the event

Lecture is presented by Jack Foreaker. Lecture is free to the public with an RSVP as space is limited inside the Hollingsworth House. This event will be rain or shine. Donations for this event are not required but gladly accepted. A small donation (even $10) will go directly to the maintenance and care of the Elk Landing Houses and gardens. There will be time at the end of the lecture to take questions from our speaker and talk with the Volunteers of Elk Landing about the house and grounds. Be sure to bring your National Park Service Passport so you can get your stamp for the Washington-Rochambeau Historic trail stop right here at Elk Landing.


A bit about our speaker: Jack Foreaker is a puppeteer and entertainer who started in 1969 working with Jim Henson. Jack worked for PBS on Channel 22 out of Owings Mills MD through the 1970'…
