Historic Elk Landing
Elk Landing is a small but important Historic Site located in the northeast corner of Maryland. Here is where a young nation struggled for liberty and citizen soldiers repelled invaders seeking to burn the local town. It was a residence to a prominent merchant family who's businesses grew the regional economy and a key transportation hub for those traveling between major mid-Atlantic cities. Along the adjoining Little Elk Creek, a 19th century boatyard constructed large vessels that traveled the Atlantic seaboard.
Today, it is a place to see and imagine life as it was.
We hope to see you soon and experience this meaningful Historic Site for yourself.
