Where Revolutionary History Meets the Chesapeake

A Legacy on the Washington-Rochambeau Trail
Located in Elkton, Maryland, the Elk Landing site holds a unique significance in the tapestry of American history. From its critical role during the Revolutionary War to its connection with the pioneering Hollingsworth family, this land served as a vital junction on the Washington-Rochambeau and Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trails.
The Historic Elk Landing Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to preserving this heritage, offering a window into the past through educational programs and restoration efforts of the iconic Hollingsworth and Stone houses.
