Historic Elk Landing
Elk Landing is a small but important Historic Site located in the northeast corner of Maryland. It is where a young nation struggled for liberty; where citizen soldiers repelled invaders seeking to burn the local town; a residence to an important local merchant family; a key transportation hub for those traveling between major cities; and a work place for constructing large vessels that helped build the great maritime economy of the Chesapeake Bay.
Today, it is a place to see and imagine life as it was.
